Start with your base watch, I picked up a cheap Invicta dive watch like so

Slap on some aftermarket hands, bezel, faced, and sand the bracelet for a nice brushed finish.

Nice not aware of this little niche hobby. I prefer not wearing watches, personally, but thanks for the insight, that's pretty cool.
