    You know, the interesting thing about this is so far, from the places I'm seeing online, it's pretty consistent that the most anti-this-happening statement regular people make is along the lines of like "I don't condone violence, but..." with the "but" bringing up the damage done in specifics by these insurance companies.

    And even what I saw on reddit looked more like here than lib pearl clutching.

    I think it speaks to the commonality of suffering, how broad the impact of the health system is for people who are in the US. Like it's a very personal thing, not just a matter of having "the right ethical stance" on something broader like imperialism. It is probably hard to find people in the US who don't either: 1) know someone who has been impacted by health insurance fuckery, or 2) been impacted personally.
