Didn’t watch the video but as a user of it, it is the best transit i’ve ever used. From maps that i’ve seen it looks like NYC’s system reaches more places but is also a lot slower and prone to congestion. Everything from the protected bus lanes that are usually only used by buses to an amazing metro line that typically drops you off at a bus station. Also its so heavily subsidized that most fares are 5-8 pesos, and other than the big mainlines you don’t necessarily have to pay so it makes it that much more accessible.
Same, Mexico city easily has a better metro system than any in the US. Cheap, easy to navigate, busy but fast, and goes everywhere.
