Something about Windows 10 just feels off compared to 7, macOS, or any Linux distro. I don’t know what they did to the shell or DWM to give it such a strange feeling, but I hate it. It’s like there’s blank frames or latency spikes in the UI that weren’t there previously and are there no matter what hardware/drivers you’re using.
It just has this feeling of jank to it. Also they keep replacing settings panels with worse versions designed to run on a tablet. Also, I wanted to change the language to English at one point to make a video demonstrating some software for a foreign partner vendor, and apparently I would have to buy a new copy and reinstall.
