I don't mind tank controls (I absolutely love the original RE4 and have beat it multiple times), it's the fixed camera that frustrates me. I'm pretty bad at trying to manipulate stuff in my head in 3D space so I get super confused when the camera isn't behind my character. Also tbh I think I just prefer the more action-heavy gameplay of RE4 and the REmakes, so it's not worth it for me to fight through learning the controls (RE7 whets my appetite on the more survival horror side of things).
