The Vampires rule the shadows, manipulating systems of power to control the world. But three strangers—each chosen by mysterious crystals—stand in their way, fighting back with elemental powers and defiant hope.

Lilly McGann AKA the Red Dragon: A mixed race lesbian ex-Air Force Colonel who wields fire and fights for justice with relentless determination.

Rocky Anoa’i AKA the Blue SeaSerpent: A trans Samoan prince and former longboarder who wields the unstoppable force of water. His humor and courage hold the team together.

DeShaun Oliver AKA the Pink Unicorn: A Black nonbinary martial artist with magnetic powers who channels their strength to protect and inspire.

Together, they form the Legendary X-Knights, heroes drawn into a time-spanning war against Vampires, who represent oppression and systemic control. This isn’t just a fight for survival—it’s a battle for liberation.

For trans and queer readers, this story is more than a comic. It’s a rallying cry. At a time when our rights and existence are under attack, supporting queer art is resistance. The X-Knights embody the strength and solidarity we need now more than ever.

It feels like you took the first two Samoans you could think of and smushed their names together rather than find an authentic Samoan name. It feels lazy, like Cho Chang.

Good bit, I'm also a fan of Rocky Johnson and The Anoa'is. But like, if I were reading this comic and tried to tell a friend about it, Rocky's name would be the part I'd feel I have to justify.

Edit: Picked a better example of lazy character naming
