And that's why there isn't a single verifiable report about their presence in the war. How very convenient.

Hey look at those guys with Asian features. Sure look convincing, huh?

I guess we'll only really know once we get some sort of confirmation from Russia or DPRK. They've been open about other forms of cooperation, and there's nothing really legally wrong with DPRK soldiers fighting for Russia, so if this is happening like the Western media is saying, I'm not sure why they wouldn't tell us.

Though DPRK news publications tend to be a bit vague about what exactly their "military cooperation" means, and Russian outlets don't talk much about the DPRK, but none of that's new.

And yeah, LAROS 2024 concluded just a few months ago, and people were sharing around stuff from that. Probably just "innocent" racism, dumb westerners that can't tell the difference, I didn't see many real news outlets using those. The news media instead seems to live citing "sources" and Western intelligence agencies as their proof of DPRK involvement.

so if this is happening like the Western media is saying, I’m not sure why they wouldn’t tell us.

I'm pretty sure it is not happening, and especially not as UA propaganda tell us, so there's nothing to even comment, and just denying or engaging at all would just prompted further response and entire issue would be made into something like "did you stopped beating your wife" level. I guess they should just answer "things asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence".

Yeah, that was what I was trying to say, if they haven't said anything then it's probably not happening. I'm reminded of that comment in a previous Hexbear news megathread, something along the lines of "If they deny it, it might've happened, but if they say nothing, it didn't happen".

Side note, the Lemmy search feature isn't very good.
