I briefly heard about it before going to bed last night. I wrote a quick thing about it now to put my thoughts down: https://criticalresist.substack.com/p/terrorist-rams-car-in-christmas-market.

I doubt this is anything novel here, but the reason they happen is because the bourgeois state stokes the embers until the fire erupts. This is what they want. Scholz, Macron, Merkel, etc. don't go to these Christmas markets, this is for the proles. They're safe in their villas and chauffeured trips, enjoying Christmas with Deutsche Bank and BMW execs. Probably talking about how they're gonna bomb China too.

All the legacy media coverage i've seen today, after his socials have been combed, mention his islamophobia, that he's a fan of AfD leader Alice Weidel and called for the execution of Angela Merkel for the Great Replacement. None mention his zionism. The absolutely rabid support of Israel amongst the AfD and its supporters is practically never adressed in public, as it is a position that 100% aligns with that of centrist parties now.

Well here we are again, back to the early 2010's with attacks. But this time the far right has gained far more popularity, so.

    Just tired man.

Yeah it sucks. Living in a place where attacks have happened before you do get wary. In public transport, in crowded places, during events etc. Sure, chances are small, but it happens. It didn't happen for a long time and the uneasy feelings settled down for a lot of people. The other day I was talking to my mom about Christmas markets and how she was somewhat scared to go for a while but that things got better. And then it happens again.

And of course immediately social media is full with comments like 'Defend Europe ✝️' and other Nazi shit.
