Try different instances and see which works best for you. My favourite is https://inv.nadeko.net/ If you want to self host you can as well. Hope that helped linkfedilink

Invidious is basically a private front end for YouTube, however once you choose an instance go and change the settings to suit your needs. Try different instances and see which works best for you.

Not that I’m aware of I’m not sure, however you can add the website to your Home Screen and make it a web app I believe
