If I was a US Oligarch at the moment, I'd be short-selling the entire US economy like crazy while setting up a nest somewhere else.
As long as they have a way out, capitalists will toss the US under the bus just as easily as the US (under the control of capitalists) tosses others under the bus.
Oligarchs are already pulling their assets out. Zucc, Bezos, and Gates have all sold huge chunks of their shares in their own companies for example. However, it's important to keep in mind that they don't see the coming crash as a bad thing. The ones who see it coming see it as an opportunity. They'll swoop in and buy up the assets that everyone else is forced to let go. Resources and tangible material assets are what has real value in the long run.
