Used up the last of my amazon credit I had to get a new mouse, since the one I own is over 12 years old and is pretty grody from daily use. So I got a razor since I've had their brands before in the past, generally I stick to logitech, razor and steel series. Anyway it says it's mechanical and I'm wondering if that's new? I'm a newb when it comes to computers anymore.
i dont think theres ever been a mouse without mechanical switches. pure marketing i'd say.
oh, actually I think razor makes mice with optical switches? so that might explain the mechanical designation.
I think there are some mice with rubber domes made for noise sensitive environments like recording booths.
Ah that makes sense. I thought maybe it was something new.
I’m pretty sure it’s just marketing. Nice have always had a mechanical switch in them. If they didn’t you’d never get the click.
