Probably because it would not have existed if not for France, since before 1920 it was largely part of the greater Syrian region.
Why did Brittany lose about half of Brittany? Also no independence for the Basques or Catalans?
The Basques and Catalans get all of Spain and Brittany gets to split England with Wales.
Confuse Corsica and Sardinia while talking to a local in either of the two islands in order to be instantly executed by the locals.
The French are on a Humphrey Bogart vibe reading this meme “We’ll always have Paris” lol
Oof yeah, parisians might support this meme thinking "nothing of value was lost".
Once paris learns they can't eat post-modern-post-left-structuralist theory, they'll surrender to Algeria.
They’d be selling every damn “sacred” painting in the Louvre for a few hundred Francs for some Wine and cheese (sorry if that was over the line lol I apologize but it was funny)
Correct course of action: give the Pyrénées-Atlantiques to the Basque Country and the Pyrénées-Orientales to Catalonia. Balkanize Spain immediately after.
Don't the Celtic peoples and other non-Frankish french people have some barely existent independence movements? I remember reading a bit about them and the EFA, and they might make for some actually legit grounds for "decolonisation" of metropolitan France.
Can we do the Anglos next?
There are independence movements in France for Basque Country, Brittany, Corsica, Occitania, and northern Catalonia as well as the overseas colonies.
For the Anglos, Ireland should be reunified and Wales and Scotland should be independent. Cornwall and the Isle of Man might also be independent or joined with Wales/Scotland since they have Celtic languages.
Also separate Mercia, the -sex kingdoms and Northumberland just to mess with them. If we are to apply the NATO logic, every division of England should have the same population as NI, which means about 1 country for every 8 London boroughs.
