I would vastly prefer this over the sh.itjust.works admins defederating from them. I don't like the people on Hexbear, but I also don't like admins getting to control what their users do and don't have access to.
Not practically possible for most people. Forcing users to jump through a bunch of hoops to have basic control over what content they have access to is not a winning formula for Lemmy.

Meh, the whole point of Lemmy is that if you're not happy with what the admin is doing you're free to be your own admin.
