I'm pretty sure any word you would call a "slur" would be not OK by definition. Nothing in this situation could be worse than the truth: crypto nerd. They seemed OK in other threads too, then they turn out to have crypto brainworms. That shit is truly an infection of the mind. Xi please export revolution to combat crypto globally.
Yeah, I didn't see any red flags from them until crypto came up. If they change their mind about crypto at some point, maybe they'll submit a ban appeal.

I don't see what this guy being a crypto-dude has to do with the argument you're making here. I'm not even sure what that argument is, specifically, tbh.
eh dbzero is a shitty instance but I don't think they're all worth just banning or even defederating. They're silly idealistic libs but I don't think I have seen any vitriol or bigotry stemming from their users yet (I could, of course, be wrong).
Zuberi in particular has even come to mine and our defense in threads in other instances than both of ours so for that I do have some respect for them.
