Huge shout-out to this book (and Losurdo in general) for breaking the spell of liberalism once and for all in my eyes. Cannot recommend it enough folks. Dives deep into how liberal ideology is predicated on slavery and hatred of poor people, and provides extremely damning evidence of that fact straight from the mouths of liberal heavy hitters like Locke, Burke, Tocqueville, and Bentham.
