Windows is such a mess - it's hilarious. They split it from a monolithic division to being separated across the Azure and some team called "devices and experiences" or something whose main goal is flogging services and Surface Pros. The latter appears to be responsible for all the shit user experience, while the former is - I dunno what they're doing. Linux is the dominant platform on Azure, and they're also building infrastructure stuff with Linux.
