Coercive control is one of the hardest things to recover from, especially if one was groomed, raised when they were young in an extreme abuse environment or are a victim of trafficking (both sex and labor trafficking) Many people get radicalized due to experiencing domestic violence yet are impaired by the lasting impacts of coercive control. Our movement needs to help those with these abuse histories recover. This would not be a medical advice sub but an information exchange that has information a person can use to self educate or speak to their support team with. It can also include ways to prevent and counter act coercive control in our own communities
