      I think the point they're trying to make is that currently the army is likely to kill any proletarian uprising were it to happen, where as back in 1917, the Russian army was fed up and wasn't about to mow down their countrymen at the orders of the same people who marched them to their deaths on the Eastern front.

        Oh, you mean that previously the Russian army was more class conscious, but that changed
