Listen to a reading of this article (reading by Tim Foley): During a speech at the EU Parliament’s foreign affairs committee on Thursday, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg clearly and repeatedly acknowledged that Putin made the decision to invade Ukraine because of fears of NATO expansionism.
The article doesn't say NATO intentionally provoked Russia. The article says NATO didn't give Russia exactly what it wanted and so Russia went to war. There is a difference between acknowledging that Putin has a narrative for why he invaded another souvereign country and saying you are the reason Russia invaded said country.
Doubt
You know you could just read the article?

Yes I do. I donate money to Ukraine and money to NATO 😇 we’re going to win
It'll turn around any day now. Don't stop believing.

Correct, Ukraine has failed to make significant gains in the past months.
