Vietnam beat the US, not really the soundest argument.
Vietnam had a righteous cause to fight for. Ukraine meanwhile is fighting to be a fascist puppet of the USA.
No doubt, just pointing out that:
“It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.”
Vietnam doesn't share a land border with the USA nor were they fighting a conventional war.
Neither was Iraq though. Yet they managed to destroy it nonetheless. Either way It's more complex than the size of the countries involved, especially in modern warfare.
The US's goal was to occupy the country, annex its natural resources, and rebuild the country with private contractors. These are not the goals of Russia in Ukraine
