What spurred this was I saw a 20k bottle of 55 year old scotch (I think) behind a glass case at Costco and the description at least made it sound delicious.

So yeah, if we start getting to the territory where you're drinking away a few hundred dollars from just a shotglass, even I'll have to try it.

(And if anyone's wondering: I asked if anyone had actually ever shelled out for it, and was told a Saudi Arabian guy bought some last year.)

    If you don't drink, I pretty much guarantee you aren't going to enjoy a 20 year old scotch, despite how delicious the description makes it sound.
