Apparently the average US football game has only 11 minutes of actual playing time, out of an average of 3 hours running time, mostly taken up by commercials and stoppages. I have no idea how anyone watches these games, they just feel like one long commercial, even during those 11 minutes that they're actually playing.
Ads are why I quit mobile games and (part of) why I abhor “football” (USian variety).
