    how is eight year olds working 12 hour days in factories six days out of the week worse than what we have now? it's bad sure but not nearly as bad as it used to be

      That still happens but it happens in parts of the world that are conveniently out of sight for the average imperial core citizen. Those same citizens are also generally fine with legalized slave labor in prisons.

      Also, child labor is returning to the imperial core.
