When the news broke that Biden and his team wasn't getting national security info from the Trump administration - the talking heads (including ex-directors of the CIA) on MSNBC kept shrilly mentioning threats from foreign actors who might "take advantage" of "our weakness".
I thought that was really funny. Surely 95+% of the time since inauguration day Trump hasn't been paying attention at all to national security stuff and there's been nobody at the wheel.
I think one of the reasons people like Van Jones kept saying "Today, Trump became presidential," is that libs needed to pretend that - at least some of the time - Trump wasn't a ridiculous reality tv moron grifter clown. A president who is a ridiculous reality tv moron grifter clown isn't part and cannot be part of their of their West Wing view of reality. It's an impossibility.
