Am I too traumatized or a lot of things advertised for parents all seem like they're designed to abuse? Like xfinity does ads for a feature where you can turn off the wifi and all I can see is a way for parents to punish their kids by not allowing them to submit their school work. Or an abusive partner restricting one's access to the rest of the world. Same with apps for tracking people. I admit I use one with my boyfriend but thats because I'm paranoid of being kidnapped. Like abusive parents/partners tracking you everywhere you go is terrifying and all this stuff is advertised as a way to deal with rebellious kids when I know the people who this will effect the most will be people who grew up like me
