        It's actually their regional HQ in Night City, so it didn't take out anything or anyone important.

        It was literally 60 years before the game start and tArasaka are based on another continent. In Cyberpunk red (the current Tabletop version set in 2050) they're still not back in Night City, so they came back during/after the Unification war.

      He plays an anarchist punk musician who nuked an office building because they kidnapped his girlfriend (she was kidnapped because she was working with a hacker collective to destroy critical infrastructure in an attempt to end capitalism). He gets captured during the mission to nuke the building and has his brain copied to a computer. Eventually you wind up with the copy of him in your brain. Over the course of the game you can talk to him and teach him that individual acts of rebellion don't mean much, that societal change comes from solidarity and trying to change the underlying situation. Or you can lick corporate boot and he'll repeatedly attempt to kill you. Or maybe neither of you learn a lesson. There's a lot of different ways to go.
