It's not history, but "If Books Could Kill" is great fun.
It's not at all like Blowback, but I'm 2 parts into the 3 part miniseries of Carlos (2010) and I very much recommend checking it out. It's a fascinating watch in the context of all the stuff we're learning as leftists.
