Man I can't even go on an anonymous internet forum without benefiting from white cishet privelege. All of these big trans issues come up and just completely blindside me everytime. Am I not paying close enough attention? Am I just an asshole? I feel so bad that people are suffering here and I havent even noticed it well enough to help combat it.

tbf im neither white nor cishet and haven’t seen any issues besides occasional obvious trolls from cumtown/4chan etc. I am undoubtedly sure there are issues though, but I don’t scroll this site too often and don’t go deep in the comments so it hasn’t been as visible to me

I just assume every place is transphobic to some degree bc it usually is lol there isn’t really a safe space for us unless we make an enclave, and even then infiltrators get in the enclave so yeah

It's in the modlog. Users don't see the modlog unless they go looking for it at the bottom of the page. It's filled with all the shit that users never see.

The mods are very quick to ban blatant transphobia. The issue lies in more subtle yet still insidious comments, where cis users talk over trans comrades and complain about measures taken to protect trans comrades when they feel inconvenienced by those measures, e.g. complaining about the removal of downvotes "ruining the site", complaining about all the "drama" when said "drama" is just trans users raising concerns, etc. To combat it, pay attention when trans comrades are raising issues and call out reactionaries talking over them or attempting to invalidate their concerns.
