    Is Italian the only Western European cuisine that can't be rounded up to trash?

    And before you say France - listen here: if I need a net worth of $1 000 000 to enjoy your cuisine your cuisine is bougie and therefore sucks.

      A lot of the classic French shit like coq au’vun and boeuf Bourgogne is peasant food. Flavorful ways to cook bad cuts of meat with what was on hand.

        Yeah, onion soup is just a bunch of onions, beef broth, wine, stale bread, and cheese.

      What is this in reference to? When I think French cooking it is usually throwing garlic, onions, celery and carrots into a pot and then making a stew with whatever else is on hand.
