This site really needs to fix the posting issues. Nobody is ever going to use Lemmy if they can’t even make a post. I have heard many people say this. I have been trying to submit a post with a picture for the last 30 minutes and gave up. Keeps giving me multiple different errors. Pictures need to be auto resized or something because anything I try to submit says it’s too large. It worked a couple days ago but now it doesn’t. Won’t work on my desktop or the Memmy app. If you guys want this website to work you need to fix fundamental issues. Just to use this site I have been jumping through nonstop hoops, and it’s already dead here so idk if it’s even worth my time.

For images, you may be running into size constraints specifically. I recall reading somewhere this instance really restricts image size, so if you have any substantial image at all, you may be better off uploading onto an external host and linking.

As someone else pointed out, lemm.ee has disabled image upload. It works fine from other instances, I do it all the time.
Alternatively, you can use https://catbox.moe/ or other image hosting services.
