At this point it feels like its just algorithms talking to other algorithms.

I got friended on BlueSky by an account that was just "Cats", with posts of different cat pictures at exact 15 minute intervals. There are just... oodles of accounts like this. I'm not even sure why. It doesn't look like it's even selling anything. Just... regularly posting cat pictures and trying to friend everyone it bumps into online.

How many accounts just like this are friending one another? How many are chatting to one another? How many are clicking on each other's links?
