      They must think "human rights abuses" means when humans get too many rights. I can't actually recall a time in living memory where they rightfully denounced actual human rights abuses.

    They were decently left wing for a time, at the very least Soc-dem, and they were a decent source of counter culture news that wasn’t covered by main stream media. Kind of like old Vice in its 2010-2016 era.

    After that they were co-opted and sanitized to fit the narrative.

      Respect for human rights is when is when you make it mandatory to check a child's genitals before they're allowed to play sports, and not when you pass the broadest and most permissive queer-friendly legislation on the planet.

    Well they've always had a bit of racism deep within their company, after all they did recently discover their links to the slave trade. Despite numerous past discussions which exposed the guardian's links to slavery.
