thing i don't get about this NEOM idea is who the fuck is going to live there?? like the houses surely ain't gonna be cheap and i can't imagine Saudi Arabia doing any kind of public housing program. it's gonna need a LOT of people for it to not just be a complete ghost town.
I think the aim is for NEOM to be Silicon Valley + Hollywood + Dubai, so rich people from all walks of life is the intended audience. Drinking is allowed in NEOM so i think they're trying to go international with it
