so im in a pretty lonesome place, not a lot of lefties. meeting new locals is difficult because COVID, as are the kinds of aid I used to be best at, but my MO was usually helping people directly rather than bothering with orgs, last time I did literally anything, which is I think the way to go out here. so, what's the best thing I can do here? posters? leaflets? geurilla gardening? breaking into homes and fixing old inefficient appliances to meet modern standards?

    Guerilla gardening is great.

Kind of what I answer to everyone, though, when they ask this is to go to the local Food Not Bombs. They're everywhere, ones I've heard are COVID-cautious, and it's the best jumping off point for meeting other Anarchists in the area who work with other orgs.

local food-not-bombs leads to a facebook account last active four years ago and a dead myspace. how creepy is it to follow up with people for activism via invasive this-shit-shouldnt-be-legal search stuff? I know I'd be creeped out, but I get creeped out by the implications of having a phone number and grocery store club cards.
