Im aware that he is not a socialist by any means but i watched some interviews of him and he does have some good takes on US imperialism and the Western Hegemony but i also recall hearing that he did some pretty shady stuff but i cant remember any specifics....Im generally supportive of leaders who try to free their countries of the boots of the US even when they're not socialist per se but this Assad guy seems a little off
No but people in the West should really have real information to counter the claims of hawks. US senators will use the morality talking point to sway the public, thats how politics works. Ordinary people are not highly intelligent and they don't remember much. That's why when Assad topic comes up I prefer Aaron mate and Max Blumenthal for a different outlook. Commies shouldn't forget that masses do care whom you support or not support. Gadaffi's army did mass rapes this was an absolute lie and people in the West should question every part of propaganda and lie.
