UAW strike day 27: UAW orders 8,700 to walk out at Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant

The targeted walkouts have resulted in thousands of layoffs at the automakers and suppliers, and, by one estimate, $5.5 billion in economic losses.

The strike escalates further! Looks like Ford didn't want to bring their battery production under the master contract.
