Yo can we get this?

I keep bikeposting on main (and will continue to do so) but on most of the threads there's comments telling me how this site needs more bikeposting.

Bikes are good and cool and we could get beginners into them. For the more adanved folks there's discussion being had over whether you need the OEM part or whether any cheap shit will do, some hacks, some legal hacks to get around depending on your local legislature and all of those woulnd't interfere with !urbanism@hexbear.net where we talk about infrastructure, allthough I admit it'd be hard to keep that one out entirely.

Massively agree with this, or even a sticky somewhere where people can look for cycling advice specific to their particular needs and climate. Like, someone cycling for fitness in a hot location will have very different needs to someone cycling for cargo in a freezing location.

I'll commit to answering questions there too. Cycling can seem daunting if you're not doing it, admittedly.

Cycling is immensley socialist and empowering. The health benefits are amazing. It's integral to train gang.

full disclosure: there is a conspiracy to get you fuckers away from screens and moving. I'm part of it.
