Maybe a mod should be paged instead. I honestly thought the team had reached a decision regarding this and just decided against creating the comm or something :) Oh and I think we agreed on !libresoftware instead but either would be fine.

Open source is an explicitly pro-capitalist divergence from the free software movement and "FOSS" is a weird middle ground between the two, that still fails to make clear what the "F" stands for

I like both !libre and !libresoftware
I love just libre, I prefer saying libre anyways. Maybe libre technology though to make the comm name explain what it is to new people? But yeah I'm totally down for !libre.
