Hila Klein served in the IDF, she told a story on their podcast in 2017 about how she was bored working at a desk for the IDF so she tagged along on a raid to a 'terrorist city', Ramallah. She reveals that the raids were happening nightly, and they were indeed stealing Palestinians from their homes.
Ramallah is the capital of Palestine, in the West Bank. It is considered to be the most affluent, cultural, and liberal city in Palestine. It has monuments to Yasser Arafat and Nelson Mandela.
These two are zionists, through and through. Do not believe their lies when they say they support Palestine.
See what one of these raids would be like:

Has his wife ever apologized for joining the IDF?
no, they always deflect saying 'it's mandatory'. They scoffed at the idea that a pacifist should refuse service and face jailtime.
Isn't it mandatory?
well what definitely wasn't mandatory was for her to volunteer to raid what her and Ethan called a 'terrorist town' to steal Palestinian children in the middle of the night. But she did, because she was 'bored'.
So was joining the apartheid army as a conscript back in South Africa before 1994. Still would expect some kind of remorse.
you can just go to jail for a bit instead
Like comrade Taylor Swift Stan Account.
if it were mandatory to join a company of genocidal death troopers I would simply not do that
I feel that. I also wasn't indoctrinated by Israel my whole life. That's not an excuse, its just context that explains the behavior. She's had a long time to unlearn that indoctrination and hasn't, that's on her.
When my dad was conscripted for 2 years he just refused orders during those 2 years. Told me it were the 2 worst years of his life but that in no way he would follow orders from a death machine.
My point is, you can be drafted and still do what you can to not help the machine. She should at least show some public remorse for what she has done, I'm okay with people changing but she doesn't indicate towards any change whatsoever so my guess is she still sees Palestinian people as not much more then animals.
I commend your father o7
I feel you. When I was in my 20s I was a bloodthirsty lib post 911. For context, I was in the 10th grade when that happened. I was not so bloodthirsty that I joined the military, but had I been conscripted, who can say? There is a reason why Bush had between a 90% to 70% approval rating at that time. Hegemony, manufactured consent, and reality building. I don't know what it is like to grow up under the settler colonial hegemony of Israel, or how hard it is to unwind that thinking. However, I know what it's like to be a disillusioned 20-year-old pumped full of rhetoric.
You can get drafted, but the conditions of your indoctrination and its power over you will determine your willingness to participate. As I mentioned in another comment, this is simply context that explains the behavior. She's had a long time to unlearn that indoctrination and, by appearances, hasn't really. I didn't find my way out of the hegemonic hedge maze until my mid-30s. I know I've said some unhinged things in my 20s that I can cringe at today, but I also know I'm not being held to account by a large audience of people either.
To be fair, I am much much less charitable towards her because she is a multimillionaire, I feel that raises the bar quite a bit lmao.
Happy you grew up comrade.
I think that is fair. I imagine that level of wealth comes with an isolating effect and leaves your perspective unchallenged on the regular.
