T.X. Watson (@txwatson) has created a short video on TikTok with music original sound. | Is it still reasonable 2 put th #edutok tag on a video abt a speculative future of mental health diagnosis? #philosophy #psychology #scifi #narrative
Yeah I know it doesn’t quite fit here, but we don’t have !videos yet.
Yeah, that's a big nah from me. Human beings by nature seek to explain the world through narrative. Even something as fundamental as the self is merely a story we tell ourselves about ourselves. It. Reality insofar as we can perceive it arrives to us in the form of narrative.
Saying someone is addicted to narratives is like saying someone is addicted to oxygen
I think the word you’re looking for is answers not narratives, an narrative and an answer to the world are not mutually exclusive, if one has a narrative in them wholeheartedly, then there is a spiritual and emotional aspect to it, but if one merely has an answer to how the world works, it is but a piece of the could-be narrative or is left on the individual’s own consciousness left only in logical understanding.
