    "The authors suggested that unexplained factors could include discrimination, differences in school quality, and differences in opportunity." This trend is so unexplainable that the authors have an obvious explanation for it. "We do not know why the wage gap has increased." Proceeds to say the reason for the wage gap a sentence later.
