Edit: Just want to clarify, Japanese is easily one of my favourite cuisines. Thai's probably #1 for me though.

    It's probably the relative obscurity of Peruvian food. Fewer people from around the world have had it, and as a consequence fewer people surveyed said they have tried it and liked it.
