        That's the thing, its like fish and schooling. It gives the cops decision fatigue, if everyone is speeding they have a harder time selecting a target.

      I think it's just a common understanding that if you normally can only go 20 mph bumper to bumper on the highway, when it's wide open you have an open pass to just floor it

        my professor who commuted from northern california to seatle wasn’t used to it and got pulled over instantly, they are hella strict in oregon and washington apparently

      There's places in the world where they aren't? I mean, i come from a place where it's a popular sport to tailgate people who dare to only go 150km/h in the fast lane, so i might be biased here, but it was always my impression that traffic is the main socially approved outlet for aggression.
