I promise that the light colors help the plants grow and are not just there because I'm an edgy bisexual. :big-cool:
I finally put together a gardening shelf today and transferred all my plants from the kitchen counter over to their own little nook. Sure I had to move the cat tower over to my room, but the cats can totally just cope... either that or I'm waking up to dirt and broken pots on the floor Monday morning. What can I say, I'm a gambler.
Out of all the sprouts I started growing a month ago only the tomatoes thrived. Sure, I transferred a little chives, basil, and parsley over to bigger pots but I'd be shocked if they weren't all dead in a week. I guess that's what I get for making the beginner's mistake of assuming everything can grow in dense ass peat. Well, that and the seeds being cold in the A/C. Both shelves have a seed warming mat on the bottom so that should help a little.
The blue shelf below has a fresh bunch of seeds. Since I wasn't limited by thicccc peat pods this time around I bought some little seed starter containers to put into the grow box. Now instead of 36 starters I have a total of 72! This time I planted cat grass, wildflower mix, sage, radishes, beets, cucumbers, green peppers, chives, parsley, basil, dill, and oregano. I forgot to go to the dollar store today so no fruits or specific flowers planted yet.

Ur plants are doing speed runs
The A/C was slowing growth before but hopefully the seed warmer mats really will help them speed run. :meow-shining:
