But while many have perceived her rant to be about having to work, a closer listen shows it’s really about having to commute to and from the office—and what little time there is left in her day after that.
oh wow, for me taking the bus takes like 70-100% longer than driving if not more.
Would take me approximately 4x as long.
If I tried to take the bus from where I lived now into town I would only be able to go there twice a week and the trip would be over an hour, so yeah I get it. The few times when I've been able to make public transit work despite living in America are exceptions to the rule.
I lived and worked walking distance from a light rail for a couple years. It was an hour long trip either way but I didn't mind that much because I could read. I miss it
