    oh wow, for me taking the bus takes like 70-100% longer than driving if not more.

      If I tried to take the bus from where I lived now into town I would only be able to go there twice a week and the trip would be over an hour, so yeah I get it. The few times when I've been able to make public transit work despite living in America are exceptions to the rule.

        I lived and worked walking distance from a light rail for a couple years. It was an hour long trip either way but I didn't mind that much because I could read. I miss it
