Absolutely loved ZLS, watched it and revenge. Looking for more slice of life series like that. Any good recommendations? I've seen Ascendance of a Bookworm, ZLS, the devil is a part timer etc.

I do love Fantasy but I don't want "generic rpg game world esc Thingamajig"

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid falls into the fantastical slice of life genre. Interviews with Demi-Girls is probably another one in terms of the setting. Unfortunately a lot of others would be isekai. Campfire Cooking in Another World would be one such isekai. Can't remember the others without getting on my comp.

I just finished season 1 of ZLS, and have enjoyed it so far. Looking forward to season 2 and glad to hear that it held up in your viewing.

If you are talking about absurd SOL series, then you can't really go wrong with Nichijou. It's as absurd and slice of life-y as you can get. An older, slightly less ridiculous version of that would be Azumanga Daioh. I would also add Bocchi the Rock in here as an absurdist SOL (even though it is usually referred to as a CGDCT).

If you are looking for fantasy flavor in your SOL, then you could check out Campfire Cooking (isekai, but moreso a comfy SOL), Bofuri (VRMMO fantasy land), or Little Witch Academia (this isn't technically a SOL I don't think, but most of the episodes are pretty tame, self-contained stories).

If you don't mind some romance in your SOL, you could check out Wotakoi, Horimiya, or Komi Can't Communicate.

Some shows I have not seen that seem like they might scratch the same itch would be Akiba Maid War, K-On, or the show that ZLS was largely channeling in its idol segments, Love Live.

Yeah I'd say season 2 definitely holds up to Season 1 if not is better. Also you get to see THE LEGENDARY TAE YAMADA in action.

Tae Yamada became even more legendary once I found out that she is voiced by none other than Sailor Moon herself, Kotono Mitsuishi. Legendary indeed.
