The first 3 images are foods the author believes are dipped in batter. The last image is of U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, whose party lost quite heavily in the recent elections.
I work in I.T. and am interested in every sub-field. I also study English, Spanish, German, French, Koine Greek, Latin, Mandarin & Swahili. I'm interested in human culture.
I like Linux, but mainly use Windows because of work.

Ah, that makes sense. Thank you!
No. I didn't watch the show much. I'm unaware of any possible references.
That seems like a good idea. If they really want to execute someone, make the official of the state shoot them on video. I'm guessing capital punishment would be almost zero within 10 years, because nobody wants to be seen as a cold-blooded killer, especially when they know that people could review the video.
The relationship between the United States & itself is complicated, not necessarily friendly.
It is really a Forbes article:

Apparently it came about after Trump suggested drinking bleach.
That is a valid point. Also, I learned something about JavaScript. Thank you!
NaN is specifically not a number.
Here's the congressman's web page about it: https://zinke.house.gov/media/press-releases/zinke-introduces-bill-expel-palestinians-united-states

He seems to be quite proud of it by the title.
I 100% agree! A UPS is supposed to have enough power to keep a computer on, which means some of the components could easily kill a person. If it has sparks or a burnt smell, disconnect the battery and get it somewhere that accepts electronics for recycling.
I know it's heavy and a new UPS is expensive, but it's better than dying or the house burning down.
I can't watch it right now, but my first thought upon seeing the title was "Several countries in Europe are socialist. What happens to the rich people there? They do still exist." That seems like a good place to look for an answer.
I think what some older people mean by this is that the younger generation have had life easy and won't know what to do when rough events happen to them. What the older people don't remember is that rough events happen to nearly everyone. It's just different events.
People today don't know how to do some of the physically demanding work of the 1970's, but we either have other physically demanding jobs or have to compete with 500 other people for a bot to read our résumé on Indeed or both.
I 100% agree! An invite-based system means that a new user has to find some way of contacting someone in order to request an invite. I think that only allowing X posts per day for e.g. the first week or 2 for new accounts would be a way to combat companies and spammers. Not allowing images or limiting image posts for new accounts, and using automated CSAM detection methods, which I understand are in the works, seems to be a good way to combat that problem.
This was a commercial truck meant for heavy loads. They are sometimes used as dump trucks. It should have been obvious that it wouldn't get across that bridge.
