I like to ask a variety of questions, sometimes silly, serious, and/or strange. Never asking in an attempt to pester or "just asking questions" stuff.
I'm generally curious and/or trying to get a sense of people's views.
What about ON? Symbiotic/commensalist relationship of letting the beetle rest around your eyes for illusion of wondrous eyelashes?
Are the chokers somewhat adjustable to fit different size necks? Do you have any dislike or fear of giraffes? If yes and no, you might look into getting some giraffe dolls that are firm enough to basically wear and display the chokers and ease your selection.
You could even slightly decorate the giraffes to help in sorting them, supposing the wearing of chokers wasn't enough for your tastes.
Thanks for the heads-up on this! Didn't realize that was in the works
Interesting, thanks! It sounds like you could hide the ability to vote either way then on an instance's frontend, but as you say, it wouldn't really do much to address voting activity from either other frontends or instances.
Yeah, that's along the lines of what I'm asking about, albeit instead of a subscription check more like, I think, however the instances disabling/removing downvoting have done so, but adjusting the scope strictly to the Local or All views.
Another approach to addressing outsider/passive voting behaviors.
If they want to change the regulations, then work on that. Blatantly violating them and challenging copyright holders doesn’t help anyone.
Have you studied history? Non-violently violating unjust laws is a means of working on that and striving to help others. Those responding as you have are no more helpful than you think those you criticize have been. If anything they're less so as their support may have been of greater help in changing things instead of letting them worsen.
Is there an AcademicDictionary in the vein of Urban Dictionary for all the jargon and filler patterns?
King of the Hill is definitely an acquired taste. Some episodes are easy to bounce off of, but after a few you might find yourself enjoying it. Good suggestion!
Rewatching Venture Bros. in order after only having seen it on tv years ago aired out of order makes a massive difference, too. I didn't realize how many episodes I'd seen were really from earlier seasons.
Isn't this sort of a reframing of curiosity, or other basic characteristics of an active mind, such as receptivity? Mental adaptability may also fit neatly here.
...Does anyone have data on how many people still use checks?
Would you happen to know if it's available for purchase on any storefronts?
Thanks, checked and looks like it is!
Btw, checked on this again and it still appears to be the case. Also interestingly, it applies to sorting posts as well, whether set to Local or All.
Is this a personal project where you just want to have a GUI for a specific system?
Mainly this tbh, in which case the answer for myself would be to limit to preferred platform, so I'll focus mainly on desktops. I've skimmed over web stuff and it gets brambly fast from what I can tell, which also applies for cross-platform in terms of devices as you've reminded me. 😅 Overall it's to simply learn how, as I enjoy good GUIs and think it might be nice to be able to make some.
Thanks, I think that will help!
Tbh it's not really what I was going for for learning GUI stuff, it's just the language I'm more familiar with. It sounds like you have something that may be better in mind, in which case what might that be? Also to clarify, I'm more interested in desktop-based GUI programming/development.
Oof, sorry, slipped my mind! I'd meant desktop-based (or device-based may be better these days?).
So...They're similar enough that any arousal confusion is incidentally amplified? I guess they may not be similar enough for this behavior to be successful and produce increased genetic diversity among themselves, though? 🤨
