I havent seen Blue get any better while i've been alive, at age 25. It seems to have gotten worse, at least Obama talked like a champion of the working class. If anything Obama seemed to scare them, they saw what could happen if we got someone they werent able to control. Luckily for them he was controllable, but it was a close one. The two elections since then, they have had all their ducks in a row to a huge degree. We have had our Consent Manufactured so dramatically over the last 2 elections, that I find it hard to believe we will ever be able to defeat it. Which is of course their goal, we would never know if they actually came close to losing, but that seems speculative.

  • Hey Noam, I recently listened to your interview on Bad Faith, and I was, uhh, not enthused with your arguments, generally. Would you mind going into a bit more depth on what the role of the left needs to be should we encounter the same problem as Biden/Trump in the future, as we probably will? I felt like you didnt have a very good footing for that interview so id love to hear what you think about the subject given more time to reflect on it.

Or if youd rather just talk about the reality of today, not the one of a month ago, What do you think the role of the left should be in elections moving forward? Fall in line with centrists, or use whatever power we can find to move the centrists left? Is electoral politics even viable as a means to solve issues like climate change, or should we just start doing that in the streets and let the politicians say and do as they like?
