They have essentially recreated a similar pattern that had Microsoft introduce DEP but for the Kernel. There would be individuals and groups now trying to work out how to exploit knowing there are at least 8 million machines vulnerable and access to the kernel became slightly easier. Hopefully they at least have some cryptographic protection on code that is side loaded so someone can’t just dump a file in the right location.

Having spent so much of my youth using the familiar cream and dark brown 1970’s World Book Encyclopaedias, with the ever growing collection of Year Books, this was amazing. I was blown away watching videos of things like the JFK moon speech. This for many like me I imagine meant the end of flipping through physical encyclopaedias.

Would be good to see tests against only images of real life scenarios or things. Limited to photorealistic people, places, events like say floods etc. I think cartoons or non photorealistic drawings will always be hard to pick as there is not an obvious image of reference you would have in your mind as there is no limit to different artists styles.
